Application Security
Security built into how your teams design, write and ship software. We set up the practices and tooling that catch issues while they're still small code changes, and tune them so developers trust what they flag.
When it's needed
Application security pays off most when a team ships often and a once-a-year test can't keep pace with what changes.
- You release every week and an annual test misses most changes
- Security tools are in place, but their alerts get ignored
- You're building a product that will hold sensitive customer data
What we assess
- Architecture and design
- Threat models for key features before they are built.
- Pipeline and dependencies
- SAST, SCA and secrets scanning in CI/CD, tuned to your codebase.
- Security testing coverage
- What's tested, what isn't, and where dynamic testing fits.
- Developer workflow
- Guardrails and guidance that fit how your teams already work.
How we work
- 01
Discover
Map your delivery pipeline, existing tools and highest-risk applications.
- 02
Validate
Check which controls actually catch real issues, and which only add noise.
- 03
Prioritize
Agree a roadmap ranked by risk and effort.
- 04
Reduce
Implement and tune controls with your engineers, then measure what changed.
What you get
- A prioritized roadmap
- What to do first, and why, for your stack and team.
- Tuned security tooling
- Pipeline checks configured so their findings are worth reading.
- Threat models
- For the features that carry the most risk.
- Secure coding guidance
- Written for your languages and frameworks.
Common questions
Ask us something elseDo we need to buy new tools?
Usually not. We start with what you already have and tune it. Where a real gap remains we'll explain the options. We don't resell tools.
What do you need from us to get started?
To start, we usually need read access to repositories and CI/CD configuration, an engineering lead for a weekly check-in, your roadmap for the next two quarters and a list of the security tools you already have. We confirm the exact list during scoping.
How much of our team's time does this take?
An engineering lead for a weekly check-in, and time from the engineers who own the systems we work on.
